On October 30, the Daviess County CEO Cohort embarked on an inspiring full-day visit to Bloomington and Indianapolis, we first toured the renowned Kelley School of Business and the O’Neill School of Environmental and Public Affairs. This enriching experience was made even more special by the guidance of Shane Sanders, a 2023 CEO Alumni, who graciously hosted and shared insights from his journey.
During the tour, Shane not only showcased the vibrant academic and social environment of the campus but also arranged an engaging panel discussion for the cohort. The panel emphasized key aspects of student life, encouraging the group to:
***Immerse themselves in student organizations and campus activities.
***Actively participate in committees to develop leadership skills.
***Connect and converse with peers and mentors, reminding them that “people are people too.”
***Dedicate time for personal reflection to grow personally and professionally.
***Take every opportunity to network and build meaningful connections.
