On August 22, 2024, the Daviess County CEO Cohort had the pleasure of welcoming Audrey Wright, a senior at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. Audrey, a dynamic young professional, shared her experiences and wisdom with the cohort, leaving a lasting impact on the aspiring entrepreneurs.

Audrey spoke passionately about the importance of scholarships and how they can open doors to opportunities in higher education. She also emphasized the value of LinkedIn, encouraging the cohort to create strong, well-crafted profiles on social media platforms to enhance their professional presence.

Drawing from her experiences studying abroad in Athens and interning in New York City, Audrey highlighted the numerous opportunities available at college. She shared that her summer internship in New York led to a job offer, where she will start after graduation.

Audrey also reinforced the power of a simple thank you note, stressing its significance in building lasting professional relationships. She urged the cohort to develop professional fortitude, be courageously curious, and not be afraid to ask questions or seek advice.

As a seasoned problem solver, Audrey encouraged the students to continually work on their elevator pitch, honing their ability to communicate their ideas effectively. She candidly shared her own struggles with imposter syndrome during her freshman year and discussed the importance of communication skills, work-life balance, and even navigating life as a single professional.
