On April 10th, the Daviess County CEO Cohort had the distinct honor of engaging in a conversation with a pivotal figure in the inception and growth of the CEO program in Daviess County: Ron Arnold. A man of diverse professional experiences and unwavering commitment to community development, Ron's journey is a testament to the power of resilience, passion, and visionary leadership.
From delivering newspapers as a young man to owning a grocery store, "Arnolds Red and White," and later a restaurant, "Main St Diner," Ron's entrepreneurial spirit has always been evident. His dedication to community service and economic development led him to manage the Daviess County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau and serve as the Head of Daviess County Economic Development Corporation. It was during his tenure in this role that he was introduced to the CEO program for students, a program aimed at nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit and leadership skills of young individuals.
Currently serving as the Daviess County Commissioner and part owner of Mason's Root Beer, Ron continues to make meaningful contributions to the community he holds dear. His multifaceted career serves as an inspiration to many, showcasing the importance of adaptability, lifelong learning, and commitment to excellence.
